Garden Design or Advice?
Sara-Jane aims to provide flexible, creative and practical advice
tailored to the client’s requirements.
A consultancy visit may be all that is required or it could be the
basis for a future design partnership.
A consultancy visit can include:-
- Visit to the site to discuss ideas and requirements.
- Written report with suggestions for improving the layout of the garden.
- Detailed list of plants suitable for the garden with visual references and notes on their maintenance.
- Planting plan showing the position of the plants.
A full garden design service includes some or all of the following:-
- A discussion about the budget and what is possible within it.
- A site survey if required.
- A concept plan – a provisional drawing with shapes and ideas to be considered for a final design.
- A mood board.
- A detailed plan of the site under discussion.
- A detailed drawing of the planting scheme.
- Sourcing sculptures and garden furniture.
- Sourcing and supplying good quality plants from specialist nurseries at competitive prices.
- Planting up the garden.
- Providing a working plan for contractors.
- A written maintenance plan to advise on ongoing care.
- Commissioning of landscape contractors and craftsmen.
- Overseeing construction work
