Devon Garden

Originally fields, this area has developed over the years into the glorious country garden it is today.

The owner wanted a garden in keeping with the house and to maximise the outstanding views of the countryside.

Hornbeam and hedges divide the large field into a lawn and provide not only structure but different areas in which to enjoy the garden at different times of the day .

The planting is a wonderful mix of formal and cottage perennials with rare and unusual specimen trees. Seasonal interest has been paramount in the choice of shrubs and trees.
